Welcome to CALIFORNIA ZOROASTRIAN CENTER
California Zoroastrian Center (CZC) was established in 1979 and this Southern California community encompasses an area over 100 miles from San Fernando Valley to San Diego.
This community is predominantly made up of Iranian whose background is linked to the Persia. We are the followers of the Zarathustra and are eager to promote the religious, social, and cultural aspects of the Zoroastrian faith. From our humble beginnings of meeting in peoples’ homes, CZC is fortunate to have Center and an Atash Kadeh where local Mobeds (priests) conduct religious services, ceremonies, and rituals.
We also have numerous dedicated individuals who serve on the executive board and various committees (i.e. youth, sports, religion class, religious services) provide leadership and the vision to a growing group of active members who work hard and are committed towards building a self-sustaining and strong community.
We appreciate the hard work over the years and caring commitment as we grow from strength to strength.
